Subba & Luhais Project
Subba & Luhais oil fields are located in southern part of Iraq , where Luhais is 120km west of Basra, 60km north of Rumaila, and Subba is 105km south-east of Nasiriya ,30km north –west Luhais. SCOP resorted to the one tender project for the two oil fields. Luhais field consists of the construction of facilities for the treatment of 5000BPD which is provided by separation of gas from crude at the central station and pumping the crude through a 12" pipeline to the main pumping station in Rumaila, about 57km away, it also includes production of 10mmcfd of gas which will be transported to north Rumaila station gas treatment by a 12" pipeline, while the gas produced at the 1st separation stages will be incinerated. Subba development facilities will consist of a separation unit of gas from crude at north station (existing), and 10" x39km pipeline to transport 10000 BPD of crude produced at north station to Luhais central and then to main pumping station depot at north Rumaila.
Work started in 2007 on the basis of EP (Engineering & Procurement) contract.
